FAMILY CARE aims to address the need calls made by the United Nations on their SDG 5.4 goal “Recognize and value unpaid care and domestic work through the provision of public services, infrastructure and social protection policies and the promotion of shared responsibility within the household and the family as nationally appropriate” as well as the EIGE need call on unpaid domestic care, especially in the cases of taking care of dependents, undermines the development possibilities of women.

Therefore, FAMILY CARE will work hand in hand with adult teachers, counsellors, and guidance professionals to support the validation of competences acquired by Family Caregivers in non-formal and informal learning through digital badges and micro-credentials.
